These conditions are valid for all foreign orders.
  1. For EU-inhabitants, all prices including VAT are valid. Those are marked with "brutto". For all other customers, the prices are without VAT (netto). You will not always find both prices but the prices given are identified brutto/netto. Prices are solely given in our currency, the Euro (EUR).

  2. All prices are subject to change without notice. (though this very very rarely happens.)
    If prices change while you order we will inform you early and let you decide wether to buy or not to buy.
    We work really hard to keep prices stable and in fact never had problems with this but you should know.


  3. Prices are EXW, this means they do not include shipping from Lehe, Germany to their destination.
    We will quote you shipping costs before we ship but to do so we need to know your address. Please do not email enquiries without at least telling us in which country you live so we can quote shipping.


  4. The risk of damage by shipping is carried by the customer. Usually we will insure /register your order shipment. Postal economy parcels are insured automatically up to EUR 100, premium parcels up to EUR 500 to most countries. Please ask for details if you have any questions. We ship postal premium or economy, Fed-EX and TNT. Since 1993 we never lost a single international shipment.


  5. Orders have to be paid in advance.
    Those are the possible payment procedures for foreign orders:

    1. We are a verified Paypal member.
      If you have an account at https://www.paypal.com/, you can pay your invoices via paypal sending the funds to our account user name: paypal [at ] askjanfirst.com
      PLEASE DO ONLY SEND FUNDS IN EURO CURRENCY.
      Paypal supports this currency and converts automatically. This is also a convenient way of paying using an AMEX card.


    2. We also accept the major credit cards VISA and Mastercard.
      Please do not email your credit card information for security reasons. Better fax ( +49-4882-6054552 ) or phone us (+49-4882-6054551).
      If you fax in your card number, we would be happy if you could also fax us a photocopy of your cardīs front and backside for verification. However, if you wish to email it, split the information into several mails, for example : first 8 digits, second eight digits, three checkdigits which are in the signature field on the backside of your card, expiry date and name of card holder. in four seperate mails. Just make sure we can put it together again in the right order :-) We need the cardīs number + checkdigits (three last digits on signature field), the expiry date and the name of the card holder.


    3. Money transfer to our account.
      Please inform us if you wish to pay this way. We will then quote total including shipping and email or fax our bank details to you. Please make sure you pay for all bank fees, in bankerīs language this is an "OUR-Payment".
      Bank transfers in the EU / SEPA-Area are free of charge if processed via BIC-IBAN.


    4. Mailing a Bank Cheque. If you wish to mail a cheque, please use our address as given below.
      Please make sure that the cheque is in EURO. The NAME OF A GERMAN BANK on which the cheque will be drawn must be PRINTED on the cheque, same with our company name.


    5. Postal or telegraphical money order is possible but may be slow. Please check this with your postoffice.


    6. We do also accept Western Union minute service money orders. BUT NOT Bidpay cheques / money orders. Minimum order for those: EUR 200,- as we have to drive 30km to cash those.


    7. Mailing cash in a letter is possible but not recommended. As this is rather insecure and ENTIRELY on your OWN RISK, we can only recommend it for small amounts. But in general, it is possible. We recommend that you register the letter.


      8. Please make sure you provide us YOUR EXACT SHIPPING ADDRESS (!!)

  6. Unless not fully payed for, any ordered goods remain our property.

  8. We provide a 14 day fully satisfaction guarantee on all equipment and tubes.
    Please contact us immediately if anything is not according to your wishes.
    If a parcel arrived damaged, please claim the damage with the carrier (postal etc.) and mail / fax us scans / copies of those documents.


  9. We do not accept any packets being sent back without postage paid.


  10. Only German law applies. Court is Amtsgericht Meldorf, Germany.


  11. Any information given here is subject to change without notice. We disclaim any responsability for faulty information though we produce and maintain this pages very carefully.


  12. Our parts are NOT specified as RoHS compliant unless otherwise stated in written form on the shipping papers / order confirmations.


  13. If one or more of this terms does not comply with German or other laws, this does not affect the validity of the other terms.
